It’s been a busy month at Lonsdale Links, with a lot happening both on and off the course.

Thank you to all the Members who attended the recent information session focused on the Practice Range and the upcoming Strategic Plan. Your attendance on the night, along with the strong response to the follow-up survey, has provided valuable feedback that will play a key role in shaping the direction of our upcoming Strategic Plan review.

While the recent session focused on the Practice Range being a significant component of our long-term vision, it represents just one part of a much broader picture. The Strategic Plan process, which will be led by the Board in collaboration with selected Subcommittee Members and management, will shape the vision for Lonsdale Links over the next five years. As such, no immediate decisions will be made regarding the practice range facilities until this process officially begins in September. The results of the recent Member survey will be shared with Members soon.

We’re also proud to announce that Lonsdale Links has been named a finalist in the 2025 Golf Australia National Awards of Excellence for Most Outstanding Regional Club. This is a fantastic recognition of the hard work, dedication, and passion we see every day from our committed staff and engaged Members. Congratulations to everyone who continues to contribute to the success of our Club!

As we head into the warmer season, be sure to keep an eye out for upcoming Hospitality and Golf Operations newsletters. With both social and golf events ramping up, your participation and support are more important than ever. Member involvement plays a vital role in the success of each event, we look forward to seeing you there.
